BHPian abhi_tjet recently shared this with other enthusiasts: So, I revisited Ganpatipule again in mid November weekend. I tried to stick to what we did last year, but there were some additions nevertheless. Further, one peculiar thing with Ganpatipule is there is no one prime road which connects it with ‘mainland’. One can always explore, mix and match!RouteI too explored the route this time again but just in Konkan region. I followed the safest route of Pune – Tamhini – NH66 till Sangameshwar in terms of traffic and road conditions. I wasn’t disappointed. There are still uneven joints though when you approach the bridge which can damage rims or create a loud thud to shake you up. But it’s good overall. Took a right along the river Bav and reached the destination via Phungus – Jakadevi. It’s slightly narrow to be comfortable till you cross the Bav river bridge but all good after that. Road quality further improves too. For return, due to my discomfort of driving Linea in such narrow roads, I chose the option of driving towards Abloli from Jakadevi and joined the highway NH66 at Sawarde. This felt the best option to me and I will try to stick to it in my future trips to this region. Let me narrate the stay experience with pictures. Got the nitrogen checked from nearby Michelin store a day before the start. The beauty needs to be clicked! Stopped at this beautiful place for late snacks before checking in. Bistro Sea Salt, USP – Pure Veg. Linea too got the seaview after hard work of 310 kms. Sunset view from beach is always captivating Mornings force you to be silent! The stillness will make you speechless. We visited this beautiful sun temple – Sri Dev Kanakaditya Devghali beach view point. I didn’t went down the stairs towards the small beach and viewing platform Views were stunning, can’t say same about my photography skill though. A mesmerising shot of Linea. It’s a 12 year old car. A walk in the park, err – beach; almost private beach One more reason to like this beach, it’s quite clean and you don’t need to watch your each step. Hope it stays same Visited Mahadev temple near Rajapur – Shri Dhutpapeshwar. Area surrounding it has these natural waterfalls This place can’t sustain heavy influx of tourists though. Not much of parking infrastructure and slightly narrow approach road. The prime reason to revisit. For the old time’s sake. I clicked similar one last time as well. Our cottage, lots of renovation going on in property. It will be much better in coming days. I found this while starting return journey, absolutely hate when someone does this Photographer getting photographed! And the nth picture of Linea. Goodbye for now, folks. PS – The doggos clicked last time are all there and then some more. All thriving and doing extremely good! Thanks for reading. Drive Safe!
