Kota – Kuppam – Natrampally – NH 48 IMHO the ghat section after V.Kota is risky. Hence chose to drive the above route. Yes, it does add to the distance. However the roads are good, the route is scenic especially the Natrampally stretch. There is one ill-designed subway at Natrampally with a right angle left turn. So, watch out there. Video Enjoy the drive (one can do 60 to 80) in the forested, winding roads. Will encounter odd school children and two wheelers. Hence be watchful. The road through the village is definitely narrow. But being early morning weekend, I encountered very sparse traffic. Also, once we touch the NH 48, we get additional food options like Sai Sangeet, Aaryas, Anandhas etc. Next time I will take the exit at KGF to Kuppam instead of V. Kota that would shorten the distance some 30 odd kms. Anyone tried this? Read BHPian comments for more insights and information.
