Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya are teaming up once again after their sensational hit “Baby.” Their new film has been officially titled “Epic – First Semester.”
The project marks the feature film directorial debut of Aditya Haasan, who gained popularity with the web series “90s: A Middle Class Biopic.” The makers unveiled a title reveal along with a brief video glimpse today.
Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune 4 Cinemas, the film features music by Hesham Abdul Wahab.
A striking dialogue in the glimpse describes the lead pair as a mix of “a Sekhar Kammula-style hero and a heroine with the qualities of Sandeep Reddy Vanga-style hero,” hinting at an intriguing character dynamic.
As the title suggests and the video glimpse indicates, the story is set in London and revolves around Telugu students pursuing their education overseas.
