New 2026 Kia Seltos Teaser OUT

The first teaser of the upcoming next-generation Kia Seltos has been released ahead of its official debut on 10th December, 2025. The teaser images give a glimpse of key design changes including the newly-designed LED headlamps with the brand’s new light signatures. The front fascia appears to be aggressive with a more sculpted bonnet, a revised bumper and an upright stance. The new 2026 Kia Seltos features roof rails, newly-designed alloy wheels and squared-off wheel arches. At the rear, the connected taillamp strip further enhances its new looks.

Longer, Wider & More Spacious?

According to media reports, the new-gen Seltos will be significantly longer and wider than its current model, which measures 4,365mm in length, 1,800mm in width and 1,645mm in height. The increased dimensions suggest that the new model could be more spacious than the outgoing model.

Cabin Updates (Expected)

Interior details of the new Kia Seltos 2026 are still under the wraps. However, the SUV is expected to come with a curved dual screen setup as we have seen in the Hyundai Creta. The dashboard design and control panel might also be redesigned. The new seat upholstery and trims along with additional features might also be part of the package.

Engine & Gearbox Options

The engine setup is expected to be carried over from the current generation. At present, the SUV lineup is available with the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol 1.5L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engine options. Reports suggest that the new 2026 Kia Seltos diesel might get a new 7-speed automatic gearbox replacing the existing 6-speed automatic unit.

Seltos Hybrid Launch in 2027

In global markets, the new Kia Seltos 2026 will receive a strong hybrid powertrain consisting a 1.6L petrol engine pairing with an electric motor. The hybrid version will make its way to India in 2027. As per reports, Kia might hybridize its 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine instead using the 1.6L gasoline motor.
