Producers Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta are going all-out for their upcoming big-budget spectacle “Akhanda 2: Thaandavam,” set for release on December 5, 2025.

Speaking about the film’s magnitude, the producers said, “The combination of Balayya and Boyapati has delivered consecutive hat-trick successes. Akhanda 2 has an even bigger span, and the energy Balayya garu brings is extraordinary. Whenever we sit with him, his energy rubs off on all of us.”

The producers clarified that the film has been conceived as a true Pan-India spectacle without requiring any special modifications for other languages.

“This is authentic Pan-India content. The story connects universally and will resonate with audiences globally. There are several goosebump-inducing moments that will surpass expectations from the Balayya–Boyapati combo. We’ve watched the film, and it left us amazed,” they added.

Addressing the much-discussed topic of premiere shows, Ram and Gopi Achanta confirmed that Akhanda 2 will indeed have paid premieres. “Yes, we have already submitted letters seeking permission. As soon as approvals come in, we will announce the schedules. The premieres are planned between 8 PM and 9 PM on December 4,” they revealed.

The team also emphasized that Akhanda 2 is designed as a theatrical spectacle. “This is a film you should witness on the big screen. If possible, watch it in 3D. It will be an exceptional experience,” the producers noted.

Babies 3 Possible?

The possibility of expanding the Akhanda universe further remains open. The producers acknowledged that the world created by Boyapati Sreenu has immense potential. “There is definitely scope for another film in this universe. It is limitless. If Balayya garu and Boyapati garu decide, it can certainly happen. But Akhanda 2 begins and ends with a single plot.”
