After strong sales in October due to reduction in GST rates and the festive season, major carmakers managed to maintain their momentum in November as well. Many companies like Mahindra, Skoda and Kia had recorded the best ever sales in October, but in November these figures were comparatively lower.

Maruti Suzuki

The country’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 2,29,021 vehicles this month, which is its highest monthly figure till date. This includes 1,74,593 domestic sales and 46,057 export vehicles. Interestingly, the domestic sales figures are slightly lower than October 2025, when 1,76,318 passenger vehicles were sold. The brand also sold 8,371 vehicles to other OEMs this month.
Hyundai

Hyundai was in second place in November, which recorded total sales of 66,840 cars this month, which includes 50,340 cars in the domestic market. This is less than last month, when 53,792 cars were shipped to the country. There was a slight increase in exports and the brand shipped 16,500 cars as compared to 16,102 cars shipped in October. The brand also said that the new Hyundai Venue, launched in early November, has received 32,000 bookings so far.
Tata Motors

Tata Motors also recorded a decline in monthly sales after a record-breaking October. A total of 57,436 cars were sold in the domestic market, while 61,134 cars were sold last month. The company sold a total of 7,911 electric vehicles, which includes domestic sales as well as exports.
Mahindra

Mahindra sold 56,336 vehicles in the domestic market in November, which is much less than 71,624 cars sold in October. The brand also sold 24,843 commercial vehicles this month. 2923 cars were also exported in November, which is a marginal increase of 5%. The carmaker has reported 18% year-on-year sales growth and total domestic wholesales will be 425530 cars in FY2026.
Kia Motors

Kia India recorded its best ever sales in November by selling 25,489 units. However, this was lower than the 29,556 units sold in October, which was the brand’s best ever performance in any calendar month in India. The company’s domestic sales also increased this year and the company sold 261,627 units this year, which is 236,043 units more than last year.
toyota

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) sold a total of 33,752 cars in November 2025, of which 30,085 were sold in the domestic market and 3,667 were exported. In comparison, the brand’s domestic wholesales in October stood at 40,257 cars, while exports stood at 2,635 vehicles.
skoda

On the back of the strong performance of the Kylak SUV, Skoda India sold 5,491 units in the market in November 2025. The brand had sold a total of 8,252 units in the month of October. In its silver jubilee year in India, the Czech brand also crossed the sales mark of 5 lakh units. Skoda Auto has recorded its highest ever annual sales in the first ten months of 2025.
JSW MG Motors

JSW MG Motor India sold a total of 5754 units in November 2025, which was less than 6,397 units shipped in October 2025. The brand achieved 32% year-on-year (YTD) wholesale growth during January-November 2025 compared to the same period in CY 2024. The company’s luxury retail channel, MG Select, also crossed the sales mark of 1,000 units last month.
Renault

Renault India recorded wholesale sales of 3,662 cars in November 2025, compared to 2,811 cars sold in the same month last year, showing a growth of 30.27% year-on-year. The brand sold 2,064 units of the new Triber and 1,151 units of the new Kiger, compared to 1,486 units and 779 units respectively in the same month last year.
