Harnessing technology for innovation in elder care, health tech, assistive devices and age-friendly digital services is a focus area in a roadmap the State government has prepared as part of the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision.
By 2047, Telangana is keen on emerging as global leader of Silver economy ecosystem through ElderX [tech platform] connecting innovation, inclusion and investment to serve 150 million seniors across 30 countries. “Digital hubs will nurture startups and enterprises developing accessible housing, telehealth solutions and financial products designed to support independence and security for aging citizens,” per the document to be unveiled at the two-day global summit next week near Hyderabad.
The aspiration to be at the heart of a $2 trillion global silver economy will be backed by innovation, in a number of areas, for dignified living. Partnerships with global institutions, insurers and care networks will make Telangana a testing ground for scalable, human-centered solutions that redefine longevity, wellness and purposeful aging, the government said.
These initiatives figure in the State plans to shape digital hubs for Telangana to emerge as the country’s leading data-empowered and innovation-driven investment magnet. Decentralised innovation networks and community ecosystems will converge to deliver prosperity and opportunity for every citizen in every district, the document showed.
Fully-connected innovation ecosystems, driving dynamism, talent and investment flows to transform cities like Nizamabad, Mahbubnagar and Siddipet by 2047 will be the focus of Telangana. It intends to achieve the diffusion loop, to transform tier II and III cities, with rapid deployment of digital towers, high-speed connectivity and workspace besides enabling equal access to innovation, education and markets.
The Tier-2 and Tier-3 hubs will be able to independent attract investment, accelerate entrepreneurship and drive balanced, long-term regional growth on the back of strengthened infrastructure, partnerships and talent pipelines. Each regional hub will be paired with a major Hyderabad corporation through T-Hub programmes, offering soft-landing packages to establish anchor projects and generate local employment.
By 2047, the T-Hub-Inspired Digital Hubs will act as district-level intelligence engines continuously analysing local data to predict demand, guide investment and accelerate industry-specific innovations across all the 33 districts, the government said.
Each of the digital hubs will collect and process real-time data on consumer trends, supply chains and workforce skills, using AI-driven analytics to identify emerging opportunities in sectors such as agri-tech, logistics, retail and manufacturing. The insights generated through such T-Hub district partnerships will enable startups, cooperatives and enterprises to co-create district-specific solutions such as farm-to market platforms, telehealth networks and precision manufacturing clusters, turning every district into a self-sustaining innovation node within Telangana’s digital economy, the document showed.
