Deliveries of the newly-launched TVS Apache RTX 300 have commenced nationwide. It appears that deliveries will be made in a phased manner as the first allot of the bike has already been handed over to customers in Bengaluru. The bike lineup is available in three variants – Base, Top and BTO – priced between Rs 1.99 lakh – Rs 2.29 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom).
Engine & Power
To recap, the TVS Apache RTX derives power from an all-new 299cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled RT-XD4 engine paired with a six-speed gearbox and a bidirectional quickshifter. This motor pushes out a maximum power of 35.5bhp at 9,000rpm and 28.5Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. Following the Apache RR 310, it’s the most powerful bike from the Chennai-based manufacturer. TVS claims that the engine has been tuned to deliver linear performance across the rev range with a focus on low-end torque. The bike offers four riding modes – Urban, Rain, Tour and Rally.

Suspension, Brakes & More
Based on the all-new steel trellis frame, the Apache RTX 300 features a 41mm USD fork and a monoshock rear suspension. The bike rides on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel. Braking duties are performed by front and rear disc brakes, assisted by the dual-channel ABS (antilock braking system). The motorcycle offers a seat height of 835mm and a ground clearance of 200mm. The bike carries a kerb weight of 180kg.
Key Features
Premium features such as a 5-inch TFT cluster, Google maps, TVS SmartXonnect, Class D headlamps, and bidirectional quickshifter are available from the Top variant onwards. Adjustable suspension and a tyre pressure monitoring system are exclusively offered on the BTO trim. Standard feature kit includes cruise control and ride modes.
Accessories
The TVS Apache RTX 300 comes with several touring accessories such as tank bags, panniers, top boxes, etc. Furthermore, TVS has partered with Alpinestars to introduce a new range of adventure riding gear including riding boots and dual-sport helmets.
