Karthi has unexpectedly joined the December 2025 race. Known for consistently dubbing and releasing all his Tamil films simultaneously in Telugu, he now brings his latest movie “Va Vaathiyaar” to the Telugu audience as “Annagaru Vostaru.”
Produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja under the Studio Green banner, “Annagaru Vostaru” is directed by Nalan Kumarasamy, with Krithi Shetty playing the female lead. For her this is a big film. She has placed high hopes as well.
The makers officially announced today that the film will release worldwide on December 12, making it the immediate major release after “Akhanda 2” this month.
Alongside the release-date announcement, the team also unveiled the ‘Annagaru’ lyrical song. Composed by Santhosh Narayanan with witty lyrics by Rakendu Mouli, the song humorously describes Karthi as “a rich kid” who supposedly called Rajamouli to direct his biopic.
The overall promotional material of “Annagaru Vostaru” carries a quirky, playful vibe.
