Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, son of the late Ramesh Babu and grandson of Superstar Krishna, is set to make his acting debut with a romantic drama titled Srinivasa Mangapuram. The project was recently announced and will soon begin its regular shooting schedule.
Rumours surfaced that Superstar Mahesh Babu was actively involved in the film’s development and had been reviewing the details with director Ajay Bhupathi. However, Ajay Bhupathi has now denied these reports.
“Neither Mahesh Babu nor Raveena Tandon is associated with this film. They are not even aware of the complete storyline. I chose Jaya Krishna and Rasha Thadani because the narrative required fresh faces,” the director clarified.
He further added that he didn’t initially expect two star kids to lead his film but believes the unique love story will stand out for its fresh approach.
Currently, Mahesh Babu is working on Rajamouli’s globe-trotting adventure, Varanasi.
