Spent 20 minutes with TVS Apache RTX 300: My few observations BHPian Surenyfs recently shared this with other enthusiasts: I checked out the bike in person today in Chennai. Only the base variant is currently available. According to the sales person, TVS hasn’t begun deliveries of the top model or the BTO variant yet. Anyone booking now will likely get delivery for those variants only by March. They had two black and one white base variant on display-two were already booked, and one black base model was still available. The sales person also offered to bring the bike home for a test ride once it becomes available later this month. He explained all the features in detail and even walked me through all the options on the display. I spent nearly 20 minutes with the bike. Interestingly, there was a sticker on the rear mudguard showing the bikes were manufactured on October 15th and 16th.About the TVS Apache RTX 300:The bike is larger than I expected. At 5’7″, I was able to tiptoe and had to lean slightly to manage the height. The fuel tank is quite massive. The headlight throw looked good, though real-world performance remains to be seen. There’s a duct running from the radiator to the engine cowl, which seems to be a heat deflector designed to channel hot air away from the rider. The windscreen is tall and should help reduce wind blast. The exhaust is a single unit but has two long protruding pipes. Seat cushioning felt comfortable. The user manual is also available now.
