2025 Harley-Davidson X440 T ImagesThe X440 T is now the flagship model in the X440 lineup. The standard X440 will continue to be sold in two variants-Vivid and S: There are around 70 changes on the X440 T compared to the standard model. These include visual updates, improved fit and finish, added features, and slight suspension tweaks: Parked behind the X440 T is the XR1200. The styling of the former is heavily inspired by the latter, especially the new tail section: Visually, the new tail section is the biggest update. Harley says the rear sub-frame has been redesigned to accommodate it. Design is subjective, but I feel the X440 T’s rear looks more proportionate than the standard model: The LED tail lamp has been carried over from the standard X440 but is now better integrated into the tail section panels: Another major visual change is the new exhaust end-can and heat shield. The standard X440’s unit looks quite plain in comparison: Unlike the X440 S, the X440 T does not get a 3D tank medallion for the “Harley-Davidson” logo. Instead, it uses stickers inspired by the XR1200: The frame now gets a cleaner and more upmarket finish: A new, larger cover has been added for the exhaust pipe: Chequered-flag-inspired stickers on the side panels: The footpegs are now made of forged aluminium, and the motorcycle gets a new metal heel plate in place of the plastic one on the standard X440: The bike on the left is the standard X440 S, and the one on the right is the X440 T. Notice the difference in chassis finish and the fasteners used: The large gap between the fuel tank and the handlebar on the standard X440 was an eyesore. Harley has tried to address this by adding an extra panel on the fuel tank: But since it’s a separate panel that doesn’t sit flush with the tank, the gap tends to collect dirt, which isn’t easy to clean: The 13.5-litre fuel tank has been carried over from the standard X440: While the handlebar remains unchanged, the X440 T gets new throttle grips and bar-end mirrors as standard: The right-side switchgear has been updated, and you no longer get an SOS switch. With the electronic throttle, the wiring is cleaner. Notice the braided wire covers, which are exclusive to the X440 T: The bar-end mirrors provide a decent rear view: Same 3.5-inch TFT screen as before: Thanks to ride-by-wire, the X440 T now gets two ride modes – Rain and Road: Also new is switchable traction control and switchable rear ABS. Both remain active in Rain mode: The grab handles on the X440T are slightly taller than those on the standard model: Up front, the motorcycle continues with 43 mm KYB USD forks. Harley has tweaked the damping to prevent bottoming out under heavy loads: At the rear, you get gas-charged twin shocks with 7-step preload adjustment. The overall setup feels plush with a hint of firmness: There are no changes to the tuning of the 440 cc air-oil-cooled single-cylinder engine. It offers a strong mid-range punch, and the brisk acceleration between 2,000 and 4,000 rpm can catch you by surprise, especially in Road mode: Padding on the single-piece seat is well-judged and should remain comfortable for long hours in the saddle: Seat height remains unchanged at 805 mm: Apart from the Pearl Blue shade shown above, the X440 T is offered in three more colours. First is Vivid Black: Pearl White… And Pearl Red: Read Team-BHP’s detailedHarley-Davidson X440 T review here.
