Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 recalled in India

Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 recalled in India Husqvarna has issued a recall for its Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 models over an engine stall issue. The announcement comes in the wake of a global recall affecting KTM 390 models. Husqvarna’s 401 models are powered by the same engine that is used on the KTM bikes. During an internal quality check, a condition was identified that could cause this engine to stall at low rpms. The issue will be resolved with the help of an Engine Control Unit (ECU) software update. The bike maker claims that the update will not only rectify the stalling issue but will also enhance rideability and refinement, while improving low-end torque. Husqvarna will be reaching out to owners of the affected motorcycles to notify them about the recall. The software update will be performed free of cost by authorised dealers.
