The iconic Renault Duster brand is set to make a comeback in India. The midsize SUV was first introduced in 2012, and discontinued in early 2022 due to poor sales, lack of timely updates and the introduction of new emission norms. Skipping the second-generation model altogether, the French is bringing the third-generation model with significant design changes, feature upgrades and new engines. The new Renault Duster 2026 is set to debut on 26th January, which will soon be followed by its market launch.
Here’re the key details of the new Renault Duster you should know before its official debut.

Modern Design
The third-generation Duster will look more rugged and sportier than its predecessor. It will be based on the modular CMF-B platform, and carry an all-new design language inspired by its global counterpart.
Similar to the Dacia Duster, the India-spec Renault Duster is likely to feature a newly-designed front grille featuring Renault’s new logo, sleek LED headlamps, heavy cladding on the bumper, wide air dams, bonnet with sculpted creases and circular fog lamps. Other design highlights will include diamond cut alloy wheels, muscular front and rear fenders, cladding across the wheel arches, functional roof rails, C-shaped LED taillamps and a roof-mounted spoiler.
