Mini has launched the 2025 edition of the Cooper S Convertible in India. It is imported as a completely built unit (CBU) and is priced at Rs 58.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Mini Cooper S Convertible features circular LED headlamps, an octagonal grille, and taillights with a Union Jack graphic. The car rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and has black plastic cladding around the wheel arches, side skirts, and bumpers. Inside, the Cooper S Convertible gets a minimalistic dashboard with a circular 9.4-inch OLED touchscreen in the centre and a 2-spoke steering wheel with a head-up display. The fabric roof can be lowered or raised in 18 seconds and 15 seconds, respectively, at speeds of up to 30 km/h. It also has a ‘sunroof mode’ where the top slides open partially. The Cooper S Convertible also gets features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a Harman Kardon sound system, a wireless charger, ambient lighting, a rearview camera, and a driver’s seat with massage function. Under the bonnet is a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that makes 201 BHP and 300 Nm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which drives the front wheels. Mini claims a 0-100 km/h time of 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 237 km/h.
