Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi, is set to open in cinemas on January 12, 2026. The release date announcement was made at a grand press meet held in Hyderabad. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the movie stars Nayanthara as the female lead. Venkatesh plays an extended cameo.
At the press meet, Anil Ravipudi said, “The journey with Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu is memorable to me. I am still in an emotional state, as yesterday was the last day of the shoot. This is my fourth release for Sankranthi. The festival is always special to me.”
He added, “Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu will be equally entertaining as Sankranthiki Vasthunam. We tapped into the comedy timing of Chiranjeevi garu and presented him in an updated version. Venkatesh garu will appear for 20 minutes. I am excited for people to see the Chiranjeevi garu–Venkatesh garu scenes.”
