JSW MG Motor India has released another teaser of the Hector facelift to be launched in the coming days. The latest teaser gives a glimpse of the cabin of the SUV and also confirms some things like the color of the upholstery and the new alloy wheel design. Previous teasers had also hinted at a new look front bumper and grille as well as a new blue exterior paint shade.

The latest teaser suggests that cosmetic changes to the cabin are likely to be limited to a few soft elements, while the basic design will remain the same as the existing SUV. The teaser shows brown leatherette upholstery on the seats and dashboard, which suggests that the carmaker may remove the white leatherette upholstery offered in the Hector 5-seater. The Hector Plus already gets a brown and black cabin color combination, and the teaser also gives a glimpse of the SUV’s three-row layout.

There is no confirmation yet on the features it will offer, however we can expect changes to the touchscreen, instrument console and probably also ADAS technology in the most expensive variants. MG Mahindra may add more features to compete better with vehicles like XUV 700 (soon to be XUV 7XO) and Tata Harrier and Safari.

Apart from this, some spy shots of the new Hector SUV have recently surfaced, which give complete information about the changes in the front end. The shape of the grille is the same as the previous SUV, although people may have different opinions on the new chrome grille finish.

Talking about the engine line-up, it is expected that the same 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engines will continue to be available. The petrol engine will be offered with manual gearbox or CVT, while the diesel engine will remain manual only.
