Vishwak Sen has teamed up with director KV Anudeep for a fun-filled entertainer titled Funky. Known for his quirky comic touch in blockbusters like “Jathi Ratnalu,” Anudeep brings his signature humor to this project, which marks his fourth directorial venture. The film is currently in the final stages of production.
The makers officially announced the release plans today, confirming that “Funky” will hit theaters on February 13, 2026, perfectly timed for the Valentine’s Day weekend.
In the film, Vishwak Sen plays a wannabe movie director, while Kayadu Lohar is seen as a film actress.
Set in the backdrop of the filmmaking world, Funky is a romantic comedy with humor as its main driving force. The film’s vibe will be enhanced by music director Bheems Ceciroleo with his trendy tunes.
The film is being produced by Sithara Entertainments, with producer Naga Vamsi making the release date announcement. However, Funky is set to face competition at the box office, as Nikhil Siddhartha’s Swayambhu has also locked February 13, 2026, as its release date.
