Official bookings for the upcoming Mahindra XUV7XO have commenced from today (15th December, 2025). Interested buyers can now pre-book the SUV by paying a token amount of Rs 21,000 at any Mahindra dealership. It’s essentially the Mahindra XUV700 facelift, following the brand’s new nomenclature after the XUV3XO. The new XUV7XO is slated to make its official debut on January 5, 2026.

XEV 9e/XEV 9S Inspired Design
The teasers reveal that the Mahindra XUV7XO will feature a newly-designed front grille along with XEV 9S-like lighting elements including trapezoidal front LED lights, boomerang-shaped DRLs and new taillamps with hexagonal detailing. Its side profile will be largely similar to the XUV700, but sport the new aero-optimized alloy wheels. At the back, the new Mahindra XUV 7XO carries a new connected full width light bar and a slightly tweaked bumper. No changes will be made to the sheet metal.

Same Dimensions & New Colours
In terms of dimensions, the SUV is likely to be similar to the XUV700, measuring 4695mm in length, 1890mm in width and 1755mm in height. Mahindra might introduce new exterior colour options along with the existing paint schemes including Dazzling Silver, Midnight Black, Everest White, Stealth Black, Electric Blue, Napoli Black, Deep Forest, Valyrian Silver, Burnt Sienna, dual-tone options and Blaze Red with Black Roof (Blaze Edition).
Upmarket Interior
Interior details are yet to be revealed. However, the Mahindra XUV7XO is expected to come with a triple screen setup and a new two-spoke steering wheel as we have seen in the XEV 9e. It could also be packed with features such as auto dimming IRVM, BYOD feature for rear seat entertainment, a premium Harman Kardon audio system and more.
New Safety Features
The Mahindra XUV 7XO could receive additional safety features including an updated Level 2 ADAS suite along with 7 airbags, hill hold assist, electronic stability control, 360 degree surround view camera, tyre pressure monitoring system and more.
Engine & Gearbox Options
The Mahindra XUV7XO lineup will continue to be offered with the 200bhp, 2.0L turbo petrol and 155bhp/185bhp, 2.2L diesel engine options, carried over from the XUV700. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be available.
Expected Price Range
With improved styling and premium features, the XUV7XO is likely to witness a minor price hike. The existing XUV700 lineup is currently available within the price range of Rs 13.66 lakh – Rs 23.71 lakh (ex-showroom).
