U.S.-headquartered (Virginia) technology-solutions provider for government and public service delivery programmes Maximus has decided to establish its operations in Hyderabad with plans to build a team of nearly 200 professionals in 2026.
The facility, Maximus has proposed in Hyderabad, will be a dedicated operations and technology delivery centre of the firm and play a strategic role in supporting global government programmes in health, social services and digital governance.
“The centre is expected to focus on advanced digital delivery, analytics, programme management and technology-led transformation of public service systems,” Telangana Government said on Monday (December 15, 2025). The company made the announcement at the recently concluded Telangana Rising Global Summit, in the presence of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
“With governments worldwide increasingly adopting digital, data-driven and citizen-centric service delivery models, Maximus’s decision to locate its next India expansion in Hyderabad reinforces Telangana’s emergence as a national hub for digital governance, public-sector innovation, and mission-critical global services,” it said.
Maximus currently operates from Bengaluru, where it has rapidly scaled to a workforce of approximately 450 since February 2024. As part of its India growth strategy, the company will commence operations in Hyderabad from February 2026 and plans to build a team of nearly 200 professionals during 2026.
The proposed facility will be one of the first large-scale global public services delivery centres in India anchored from Telangana.
Mr. Reddy said Telangana continues to attract first-of-its-kind global investments in public service technology and digital government capabilities, driven by the State’s strong talent base, policy clarity and future-ready ecosystem. “The government of Telangana remains committed to enabling global organisations working at the intersection of technology, governance and social impact. It looks forward to a long-term partnership with Maximus as it scales its operations in the State,” he said.
