Recently, a Bollywood film titled Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat starring Harshvardhan Rane turned out to be a sleeper hit at the box office. The movie, made on a moderate budget, earned over Rs. 110 crores gross globally and surprised the trade pundits. The romantic drama directed by Milap Zaveri featured Sonam Bajwa as the female lead.
Generally, Hindi films arrive on OTT eight weeks after their theatrical run, but Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat hasn’t made its digital debut yet, even after completing the said window. Netflix holds the post-theatrical streaming rights of this hit film, and reports suggested that this love tale would make its OTT premiere on December 16.
However, that didn’t happen, disappointing audiences extremely, and they are waiting for an update from the streaming platform. The movie is about an influential politician who gets attracted to a film actress but slowly transforms his admiration into a dangerous obsession.
Shaad Randhawa, Sachin Khedekar, Ananth Narayan Mahadevan, and Rajesh Khera played key roles. Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat is bankrolled by Anshul Rajendra Garg and Dinesh under the banner Desi Movies Factory.
