I took my Triumph Speed 400 where it didn’t belong and it surprised me BHPian itsMridul recently shared this with other enthusiasts: It has been two years since I got my bike. In these years, I have taken it to places with varying difficulties. Although it roams in the urban neighbourhood most of the time, but is equally comfortable on the highway munching. And thanks to the conditions of our roads and other infrastructures, a little bit of off-roading is always on the menu. You cannot avoid the uneven surfaces, the frequent speed bumps of every kind and size. And then the nightmarish potholes: they tend to appear at the most unexpected points at unexpected times. One day, you have the road surface fine, and then a week later, a new pothole appears to rattle your memory and test your reflexes. And I must say this bike helps me keep calm and enjoy the surprises our roads throw at us.City Commutes to Surprise Off-Road Trails:Now let’s come to my latest ride. While browsing through Google Maps, I came to know of this place. There is a small Kali Temple nearby with the idol having eighteen hands. It was located just beside a riverbed, which is used for sand mining. The approach road was used by Tractors and motor vans. The ample torque helped a lot in navigating the uneven surfaces. But I could not record a video as I didn’t have an action camera with me. Fortunately, I found this gentleman who agreed to shoot a video of me climbing out to the riverbank.
