The Jubilee Hills police have registered a case against a pub for allegedly operating beyond permitted hours. A case was filed under the BNS and City Police Act against the pub’s manager and owner.

Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills police booked a case against the management of Insomnia Pub for allegedly operating beyond permitted hours during the early hours of Tuesday.
Police, while on routine patrol around 12.05 am, noticed a large gathering at the pub and found it open past the stipulated closing time. A case was registered under sections of the BNS and City Police Act against the pub’s manager Shafi and owner Kunal.
The police warned that strict action would be taken against establishments violating timing norms.
Domalguda road accident claims teen’s life, rider hospitalised
Hyderabad: An 18-year-old youth was killed in a road accident on Upper Tank Bund under Domalguda police station limits on Wednesday.
The mishap occurred when a two-wheeler, attempting to overtake a truck, collided with it after an oncoming vehicle appeared suddenly.
The pillion rider, Karthik (18), suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot. The bike rider, Ranjith (19), was injured in the incident. The injured rider was shifted to Gandhi Hospital.
The Domalguda police have registered a case against the truck driver and are investigating.
