To Goa on my Yamaha R1 WGP: A biking trip with friends

To Goa on my Yamaha R1 WGP: A biking trip with friends BHPian krishnaprasadgg recently shared this with other enthusiasts:Ride to GoaAs is tradition in our small group, we had planned for our year-end multi-day ride. This time, the destination was set for Goa. The lack of the IBW crowd was one of the main reasons for choosing Goa, btw. All loaded up and ready to start the ride Reached the meetup spot, took the time to top up with fuel I was the first to arrive, so I had a cup of coffee while the group assembled Everyone is here, Let’s roll This time, too, we had a good lineup. Bhpians Wolfy on his brand new 6R, Xaos636 on his 10R, and the Daytona 675R, Hayabusa, Striple, and the ADV 390 completing the rest of the lineup, of course, me on my R1. Quick stop for a group photo Breakfast stop at an A2B near Sira Fueled up the bike post fueling up ourselves While I was reviewing the photos for the trip, I realised that most of the pics I have of the trip are just Petrol bunk takeovers , while the whole trip was a blast and I enjoyed every minute of it, it looks like I forgot to take some good photos. Yet another fuel stop Oh look, a pupper! Surprise, surprise, another fuel stop. Yeah, we did a lot of these during the trip. Mid-trip on the way to Goa, the R1 hits 59k on the ODO, and I made a stop to capture the moment. 59k rolls up Whatever decent photos of the ride I have are from my friend(s) phone(s). So will post a few of those here. @wolfy’s latest toy, what a mean machine she is. The R1 trying its best to make me look half decent in photos. And we are finally at Goa! Trip meter post Day 1 ODO meter readout post day 1 Spent a good 2 days chilling and enjoying Goan food and laid-back life. Not many photos were taken. Our Airbnb had provisions for a proper water supply and a proper hose, so the day before we were to return, all of us took the opportunity to wash and clean up our bikes for the ride home. The complete lineup Also, while in Goa caught up with fellow BHpian @akshayhonda and his friend, and spent some quality time talking bikes, which we never seem to get bored with. Catching up with @akshayhonda and his friend Same story again, did not stop to take too many photos of the return ride, was just purely enjoying the ride instead. Pineapple munching break, this was some of the best Pineapple I have ever had, straight and fresh harvest from the fields. It was an offseason yield, apparently. Trip meter post the ride Customary ODO meter shot to end the post Cheers Krishna Check out BHPian comments for more insights and information.
