The first batch of the Mini Cooper S Convertible has been sold out within 24 hours since it was launched in India on December 12, 2025. The new Cooper S Convertible is imported as a completely built unit (CBU). It is priced at Rs 58.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Dealerships are now accepting bookings for the next phase of deliveries starting from early next year. The latest iteration of the Cooper S Convertible features a fabric roof, which can be lowered or raised in 18 seconds and 15 seconds, respectively, at speeds of up to 30 km/h. It also has a ‘sunroof mode’ where the top slides open partially. The Cooper S Convertible uses a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that makes 201 BHP and 300 Nm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which drives the front wheels. Mini claims a 0-100 km/h time of 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 237 km/h.
