Hyderabad will celebrate Sankranti with a series of vibrant festivals, including a drone festival on January 13–14 and a hot air balloon festival from January 16–18 at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad.

Hyderabad: This Sankranti festival, Hyderabadis can look forward to taking part in both hot air balloon and drone festivals. The Tourism department is set to organise a drone festival on January 13 and 14, and hot air balloon festival from January 16 to 18 at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad.
These are in addition to the international kite and sweet festival, which will be held from January 13 to 15. The hot air balloon festival and drone festival on the occasion of Drone Day are being organised to promote tourist destinations across the State and to attract more domestic and international tourists to the State, the Tourism department on Thursday.
For smooth conduct of these festivals, an interdepartmental coordination meeting was convened by Special Chief Secretary to Government (YAT &C department) Jayesh Ranjan with the Tourism department and police department officials.
