BHPian Majumdarda recently shared this with other enthusiasts: Since my Studds has become pretty loose, I bought home a new helmet, a bit expensive one, if I compare it with the Studds. Its from the MT. The fitting is good, but since I am used to wear a modular / flip-Up helmet, the aspect of getting used to this is not at all welcoming. I mean, you literally loose the liberty of everything once the helmet is there. Anyways, this one is good, but I will also get a Studds modular one, for the city here and there rides. Ride To Royal Enfield Motoverse 2025Anyways, with the new hardware in place and November doing the rounds, why not another round of Rider Mania, aka Motoverse. This time, I went with the herd again, rekindling old memories, comparing with the new honchos with their lean and mean machine and somewhere during a break I remember, way back in 2014, when I had first traveled to Rider Mania, there was a senior gentleman too, who was with his old steed. Though the gentleman was quite impromptu, but his machine, at times, struggled to keep pace with the goons of ghosts! Somehow, that memory was very much live during this time. I was riding the oldest bullet in my group! Its an honor when people praise the beast, but deep down inside, the beast is struggling! The new chipmunks are too frenzy to keep up with And that’s the other one, keeping its head high amongst the onslaught of new 450s and 650s Once we reached the venue, collected the goodies (unfortunately Sid and his team could only afford to distribute a single RM sticker, though the invitation had a complete page, might be Zomato shipped it somewhere via District!) A couple of exhibits out there. Visited the Maut-Ka-Kuan and it reminded me of yesteryears’ where Yamahas and Samurais would play the lead! RE for sure knows how to keep its crowd engaged, though for next time, I would be doing my homework well! A Bullet 650 Twin is in the pipeline and though the production version was showcased, the prices were not revealed. I loved the machine, but considering the fact that “Bullet” is in its 90th year of constant production, should I wait for the “Bullet 1000” to be released, (obviously you will not release a 100cc in the 100th year) OR whether I should go for a bigger meaner Himalaya750 or KTM (Yes, they are buttery smooth!) 125 years of Royal Enfield also saw a special color getting introduced. The day is not too far when it will be available for other models too. Though I had to return early on Sunday the memories from these two days are quite refreshing! I definitely need to start going on rides more…lest the bones become chattery!Check outBHPian commentsfor more insights and information.
