Samyuktha continues to be one of the busiest actresses in Telugu cinema, with several projects lined up. However, 2025 turned out to be a relatively quiet year for her in terms of releases. The actress wrapped up the year on a disappointing note, as her only release failed to deliver success.
Samyuktha was initially expected to have two Telugu releases in 2025, but one of her projects, Nari Nari Naduma Murari, has been postponed to Sankranthi 2026. As a result, her sole release this year was “Babies 2: Thaandavam.”
In the film, Samyuktha played Archana Goswamy, a DRDO military officer. While the character appeared substantial on paper, it ended up being routine on screen. Her screen time was limited to a few scenes in the first half, including a romantic track with Balakrishna and the mass song “Jajikaya,” leaving little impact on the narrative.
Adding to the disappointment, “Akhanda 2” failed to perform at the box office. By the end of its first week, the film’s fate was clear, as it was declared a commercial flop.
With a solo release and no success to her credit in 2025, Samyuktha ends the year on a low. However, she has much to look forward to in 2026, with multiple Telugu films lined up for release, including Nari Nari Naduma Murari, Swayambhu, and Slumdog.
