Hyderabad: Telangana government has permitted the Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies to appoint official Person-In-Charge committee for each primary agricultural cooperative credit society or large sized cooperative society or farmers’ service co-operative society
An order to this effect was issued by K. Surendra Mohan, Secretary to government. The order will be enforced for six months or till the elections are conducted or until further orders of government whichever is earlier.
The government’s move duly supersedes the orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.386 dated July 14, 2025 and duly exempting the PACSs from the time limit specified under Section 32(7)(a) of TCS Act- 1964, by invoking the powers vested under Section Act, 1964, in order to complete the reorganization of PACSs basing on the formation of new mandals as soon as possible.
The Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies in Telangana, would take further necessary action in the matter.
