Pawan Kalyan outlines Jana Sena’s organisational goals for 2026

Vijayawada: Deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan on Monday warned YSRCP leaders over their repeated “provocative and threatening” statements targeting police personnel in the state. Speaking at Jana Sena‘s organisational meeting ‘Padhavi-Badhyata’ (Position-Responsibility) in Mangalagiri, Pawan said such statements are “irresponsible and dangerous” and a threat to democracy. “Holding a responsible position calls for accountability and taking moral responsibility. Indiscipline or misuse of authority would not be tolerated,” the Jana Sena chief told the gathering, which was attended by party MLAs, MLCs, representatives of local bodies, and chairpersons of various state corporations.Referring to law and order, he said Andhra Pradesh‘s development depended on people’s trust in institutions like the police and judiciary. “Criminal elements were encouraged during the previous regime. Restoring institutional credibility is essential for the state’s progress,” he said. Urging govt officials, employees, and industrialists not to get intimidated by opposition claims, he said YSRCP is not going to return to power.Highlighting Jana Sena’s organisational expansion, he said nearly 3,400 leaders were appointed to various posts, while the party currently has 21 MLAs and two MLCs. He added that more leaders from other parties are keen to join Jana Sena due to “our fixed principles and transparent approach to governance”. Stating that it is not easy to build a political party at the grassroots level overnight, he said he is fully committed to strengthen Jana Sena from the village level upwards. He further announced that Jana Sena’s next formation day celebrations in March 2026 will be organised with a ‘Zen-G’ theme, focusing on discipline, balance, and purposeful political engagement.
