Actor Roshan, who has previously played lead roles both as a teenager and later as a grown-up actor, believes that his upcoming film Champion marks his true debut as a hero.
Directed by Pradeep Advaitam and co-produced by Ashwini Dutt’s Vyjayanthi Movies, Champion is a period drama scheduled for release on December 25, 2025. Speaking about the film, Roshan described it as the real launchpad of his acting career, adding that his earlier film “Pelli SandaD” served more as a warm-up rather than a full-fledged debut.
“Ashwini Dutt garu has successfully launched many stars. I feel blessed to be introduced as a hero under his banner,” Roshan said, expressing gratitude for the opportunity.
Roshan, the son of actors Srikanth and Ooha, plays a young man who leads a revolt alongside the villagers of Bhairanpally against the Nizam’s Razakars. Anaswara Rajan stars as the female lead in the film.
