ACC Ltd’s board has approved a merger with parent Ambuja Cementsunder which Ambuja will issue 328 shares for every 100 ACC shares held. The amalgamation aims to create a single, scaled cement platform under the Adani Group and is subject to NCLT and regulatory approvals.
HCLTech | The company said its software arm HCLSoftware plans to acquire Belgium-based startup Wobby, which builds AI data analyst agents, to strengthen its generative AI offerings and help enterprises derive faster insights from data warehouses.
Sanghvi Movers Ltd | The company said its subsidiary Sangreen Future Renewables has bagged wind balance-of-plant EPC orders worth ₹428.72 crore from domestic IPPs for projects totalling 270.6 MW, covering civil works, access roads and installation-related infrastructure.
UK Paints (India) Private Ltd, part of the promoter group of Berger Paints India Ltdhas informed that it will acquire a 14.48% stake in the company through an internal restructuring. The acquisition of 16.88 crore equity shares from Jenson & Nicholson (Asia) Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary, is scheduled on or after December 29 and will be carried out at nil consideration under a scheme of amalgamation approved by the NCLT and the Jersey Financial Services Commission.
Prestige Estates Projects Ltd | The company has acquired a 25-acre land parcel in Medavakkam, Chennai, with a development potential of about 5 million sq ft and an estimated revenue potential of over ₹5,000 crore, strengthening its long-term presence in the Chennai market.
Welspun Corp | The company said it has completed the acquisition of a 4.11% stake in subsidiary Welspun Specialty Solutions through a block deal worth about ₹109 crore, raising its holding in the company to 55.17%.
GPT Infraprojects | The company said it has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a ₹670-crore road project from the National Highways Authority of India, boosting its highways order book.
Saatvik Green Energy | The solar panel maker said its subsidiary, Saatvik Solar Industries, has secured a ₹486-crore order from a leading IPP/EPC player for the supply of solar PV modules.
Antony Waste Handling Cell | The firm said its subsidiary Antony Lara Enviro Solutions has won a municipal solid waste pre-processing contract worth about ₹330 crore from the Thane Municipal Corporation.
Man Industries | The company said the Income Tax Department has concluded its search proceedings, adding that operations continued uninterrupted and the company fully cooperated with officials. The development comes two months after SEBI barred the company and three senior executives from the markets over alleged fund diversion.
