Pan India star Prabhas’ film ‘Raja Saab’ directed by Maruti was originally scheduled to release on December 5. However, due to the competition with the highly anticipated film ‘Dhurandhar’ at the same time, the makers postponed their film to Sankranti on the request of the distributors. As ‘Dhurandhar’ is currently breaking records at the box office and standing as the biggest hit in the country, it has to be said that ‘Raja Saab’ leaving the competition is a good thing.
If ‘Raja Saab’ had released on December 5, the success of ‘Dhurandhar’ would have definitely affected the collections. Despite the talk, competition between blockbusters can hurt collections.
