I randomly came across a post on Instagram stating that they were conducting a driver selection for the South Indian Autocross League 2026. It excited me to the very core, and I wanted to participate just to showcase myself and understand what exactly a beginner needs to get into motorsport. I considered getting into this selection because of the price that was offered by Vision4Motorsport- Believe me, it’s only 3000. I was initially confused because I know getting into race-spec cars is always costly, but at such an affordable price, it felt like a scam. So I did my research and found that it was legitimate, and then I went for the selection. I happened to meet a lot of professional drivers who came in, and I was able to network with these guys, get in touch with them, get their contacts, and also connect with the teams of Vision4Motorsport and Kari Sports. I am not going to tell or reveal what the selection process is because it was insisted on by the team, but the overall experience was fantastic.Three female drivers participated in the selection, and all three of them felt the same way as I did.What I Took Away from the Experience?What do I get? I got an insight into the current motorsport trend in India, how to grow in it, and what exactly you need to do to become a racecar driver. I would suggest that interested individuals who want to race can check their profile out for initial experience, as they give out a platform to anybody who wants to get into racing. This team wants to grow, and they have the vision to take motorsport to the next level. I say this because everybody knows the running cost of such cars and how expensive it is to get into motorsport, so breaking barriers is something you should pay attention to.
