Hyderabad gears up for Numaish from Jan 1 | Hyderabad News


Hyderabad: The city is set to ring in the new year with the return of one of its most iconic annual events, the 85th All India Industrial Exhibition, popularly known as Numaish. The exhibition is scheduled to open to the public on Jan 1 at the Exhibition Grounds in Nampally and will continue for over six weeks.Organisers say preparations are in full swing, with vendors from across the country expected to participate. The exhibition will feature over 1,200 stalls offering everything from handicrafts, garments, and household goods to electronics and regional cuisine, making it a major draw for shoppers and families alike. As in previous years, the event will also include amusement rides, food courts, and cultural attractions aimed at enhancing the visitor experience. Traders from several states, including Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh, will participate.Given the large footfall the exhibition attracts every year, arrangements have been made to improve crowd management, security, and basic amenities. Civic agencies are coordinating with the Exhibition Society to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety during the event period.
