Hyderabad: The police busted an illegal cattle transportation attempt at Abdullapurmet on the city outskirts on Friday.
As per information available, a truck, falsely shown as carrying goods and fully covered with a tarpaulin, was intercepted on suspicion.
During inspection, police found cows being secretly transported inside the vehicle, with small openings made in the cover for ventilation.
The lorry driver was detained, and an investigation is on to trace those behind the illegal transport.
Further action will be taken as per investigation and evidence, police said.
