Wanted to get the MadDog Alpha aux lights when I came across this. After some discussions with fellow biker cousins, decided to go for a headlight change. These are 3-in-1, as in pure white (6000K), warm white (4300K) and yellow (3300K) in a single setup. Found the focus and spread both quite good. It does create a round, focused throw just a couple of meters from the front but the extreme near ranges are also adequately covered by the DRLs. The OEM high-low beam switch works the same. It’s a projector-type LED (that’s what the manual says). Came at almost the same price as aux lights without the additional attachments (other than the switch) and no legal issues expected.
