Fiorentina’s search for a defensive midfielder has led them to a rising star in France’s Ligue 1: Senegalese international Rassoul Nader Ndiaye.
The 24-year-old has been turning heads with his dynamic performances for Le Havre AC since arriving from FC Sochaux in the summer of 2023. Despite his club’s ongoing fight for survival, Ndiaye has flourished, showcasing a powerful blend of physical presence and technical ability that has not gone unnoticed.

According to exclusive reports from Africafootscouts from the Italian club, known as the Violahave already been dispatched to monitor the player in action. Valued at approximately €5 million and under contract until June 2026, the “Senegalese Lion” appears ready for a major move.
However, Fiorentina is not alone in the chase. Spanish side Villarreal is also reportedly tracking the midfielder, and interest from within France is heating up as well, with Toulouse and Stade Brestois also credited with a strong interest in securing his signature.
