BHPian srvm recently shared this with other enthusiasts: After 6 years with God’s grace, we did the Tri-Ranga trip again. This time it was me, my parents and my aunt (a total of 4 people). On Sunday 21-12-2025Left Bangalore and reached Srirangapatna in the evening. Stayed at King’s Inn. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Close to the temple. Visited Kaveri Sangama and Nimishamba temple on Sunday evening. On Monday 22-12-2025We reached the Adiranga temple by 5.30am. Huge crowds compared to our visit 6 years ago. Looks like this tri-Ranga pilgrimage has become hugely popular over the years. Finished darsan by 6.55am. Came back to King’s Inn and checked out by 7.20am. Had breakfast at Saviruchi Veg, Malavalli (8.30 to 8.50am). Reached MadhyaRanga temple by 9.15am. Again huge and undisciplined crowd. Hundreds of cars, tempo travellers, buses, and mini-buses in this small village. Temple is still in Balalayam state. Had darsan at 10am and started soon after. Reached MM Hills at 12 noon for a coffee and comfort break. Crossed Mettur at 1.20pm. Came via Poolampatti – Edappadi bypass – Sankagiri bypass. Had lunch at Hotel Vallalar Vasantha Bhavan at Sankagiri bypass (2.20 to 2.50pm). Crossed Namakkal at 4pm. Took Kannanur – Pagalvadi route and reached Srirangam at 5.30pm. We had booked an Airbnb stay at Srirangam near Sugam hospital. Very comfy and clean. Took the room. Got freshened up and reached Temple by 6.00pm. Had (free) darsan of Antyaranga by 8.00pm. Completed darsan of Ranga Nachiyar by 8.50pm. Retired for the day after dinner. On 23-12-2025 (Tuesday)We visited the same temple to see the shrines which we missed the previous day (9am to 1.15pm). Came back to the room. After a siesta, we went to the Thiruvanaikaval temple in the evening (5pm). The temple is also H-U-G-E. Had darsan of Lord Jambukesvarar and Goddess Akhilandeswari (twice). Left this temple at 6.30pm and next went to Uraiyur Divya Desam Temple (reached at 7pm). Lord here is Azhagiya Manavalan (translates to ‘The Handsome Groom’). Goddess is Kumudavalli Thayaar. This is also the birthplace of Thiruppanalvar (one of the 12 holy Alvar saints of the Sri Vaishnavite sect). Completed darsan of Lord and Thayaar by 7.45pm. Came back to the room after dinner and retired for the day.On 24-12-2025 (Wednesday)We started from our stay at 7.15am. Had darsan at Uttamar Kovil (very near Srirangam), followed by darsan at Gunaseelam (Lord Prasanna Venkatachalapathy). Crossed Musiri – Namakkal – Salem and reached Sai Sangeet (near Thoppur toll plaza) for lunch (1.00 to 1.50 pm). We took Dharmapuri – NH844 – Rayakottai – NH844 continued – Hosur – Attibele – C V Raman Nagar. Reached home at 5.30pm.Trip statistics:Vehicle: Zest (Petrol)Total distance covered: 938 kms.Fuel efficiency (as per MID) = 15.6 kmplFuel efficiency (based on my past experience) = 14.0 kmplPS: We had most of our vegetarian food in Srirangam at a place called ‘Ezham suvai’.
