Akhil Akkineni is currently busy shooting his upcoming film Lenin. The project underwent a major change when Sreeleela opted out due to scheduling conflicts, after which Bhagyasri Borse came on board as the female lead.
Naga Vamsi, along with King Nagarjuna, is backing the film. In a recent interview, Naga Vamsi expressed confidence in Lenin, stating that the film is shaping up well and will bring joy to Akkineni fans. He also added that Nagarjuna himself is taking special care of the project.
Reportedly, Lenin revolves around the sensitive issue of honour killings and is being directed by Murali Kishore Abburu of Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha fame. Shivaji is essaying a pivotal role, while SS Thaman is composing the music.
