BHPian KL33_Guy recently shared this with other enthusiasts: This Diwali, my family and I completed a whirlwind round trip of 5300+ kms to BBSR from Changanacherry, spread over 20 days. Since we were a family of 5 with 3 senior citizens, it was paramount that we stop every 2-3 hours for a quick stretch, food, and a toilet break.The route we took: Changanacherry-Kumily-Bengaluru-Chittoor-Naidupeta-Vijayawada-Vizag-BBSR-Angul-Samabalpur-Raipur-Nagpur-Hyderabad-Bengaluru-Kumily-Changanacherry. I am sharing a quick review of few noticeable stops we undertook during the onward journey to BBSR for everybody’s future reference. Sri Balaji Bhavan for breakfast. A quick round of pics was clicked during the journey. I studied here, Nursery until 10th grade. Famed Abhadha (pronounced o-bho-dha) Unmissable Alu dum dahi bora Refuelled at this HP Bunk at Girisola, probably the worst quality fuel in the entire trip. Telangana & AP had the best fuel quality. Final Stats:Mileage is usually 1 kmpl less than the MID figure. Shell Helix HX8 filled before the trip performed exceptionally well. Good roads from Bengaluru to BBSR, the new asphalt ridge before and after the flyover ramps in AP/Telangana felt quite pronounced in my car. Tirupati Expressway and Vizag Bypass were spectacular, slow-moving truck and local traffic between Vijayawada & Elamanchili was a pain.
