An attempted robbery at Balaji Jewellers in Nagaram sparked panic when two men threatened the shop owner with a fake firearm. The suspects, who arrived on a bike, posed as customers before brandishing the weapon.

Hyderabad: An attempted robbery created panic on Friday in the Keesara police station limits after two unidentified men tried to loot a jewellery shop by threatening the owner with a firearm.
The incident occurred at Balaji Jewellers, located in Satyanarayana Colony in Nagaram.
Police said the suspects, who came on a bike, entered the shop posing as customers and suddenly pulled out what appeared to be a gun to intimidate the shop owner, Sandeep. When the owner courageously resisted, the accused fled the spot in haste, leaving the weapon behind.
Keesara Inspector Anjaneyulu and his team rushed to the scene soon after receiving the alert.
Upon examination, the police confirmed that the gun recovered from the shop was fake. Efforts are underway to identify and nab the suspects, and further investigation is on.
