BHPian chiefpk recently shared this with other enthusiasts:Morgan’s Journey to 5000 KilometresI can’t stop grinning every time I ride this bike. I am too lazy to write up a separate ownership report, but trust me, I will soon Each and every ride has been special and so much fun. The suspension is stiff, the heat on your legs is cumbersome, but who cares when that sweet 47ps of power from the twin cylinder is laid down on the road, it makes you forget everything. Some shots from the recent ride from Pune to Goa and back. PS: I met with a minor accident on my way back from Goa to Pune. Took the NH166G route from Goa to Kolhapur (first mistake, as we came through Anuskura Ghat and shouldn’t have taken a newer road while returning). The roads were good only for around 20kms after which it became a nightmare. Second mistake, I kept riding during the dusk time when visibility got low in the evening. I should’ve stopped but alas, I didn’t. Upfront there was a pure black cow crossing the road and it was too late when I spotted it. Luckily, with some quick reflexes, I swerved away from T-boning the cow but hit the left part of the bike with the cow. The left clip-on got damaged, and the handlebar alignment got off. Gave the bike in repair today. Hopefully will get it back in a day or two. Learnt my lesson and will keep in mind for the next time. Fuel economy, though, has been surprisingly good. I have seen numbers above 30 as well, tank-to-tank. The performance is exceptional. Odometer stands at 5525 kms now. Will get the second service done next month and hoping to ride safer miles. Fingers crossed, the next write-up is for the ownership review, hopefully. Cheers, Ride Safe! Check out BHPian comments for more insights and information.
