The upcoming Sankranthi 2026 releases “”The Raja Saab”” and “Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu” are already creating strong buzz in North America, with promising pre-sales figures for their premiere shows.
Prabhas-starrer “The Raja Saab” is set to premiere in North America on January 8, and the film has already recorded around $350K in pre-sales for its premiere shows. With a full week still left before the premieres, trade circles expect the film to comfortably cross the $1 million mark in advance bookings.
Meanwhile, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s “Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu” will hit theatres on January 11, along with premiere shows. Despite having nearly ten days to go for premieres, the film has already crossed $100K in pre-sales, indicating steadily building momentum.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, “Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu” comes with solid box-office credentials. The director’s previous Sankranthi release Sankranthiki Vastunnam grossed close to $3 million in North America during its lifetime run. Chiranjeevi’s last blockbuster Waltair Veerayya also performed impressively, collecting over $2 million in lifetime gross. With this proven combination, expectations are high for an even stronger showing.
With both films gaining traction well ahead of release, the Sankranthi 2026 box-office race in North America is heating up.
