Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police caught 11 transgender persons on charges of creating public nuisance at various public spots across the Commissionerate on Thursday night.
Following instructions from superior officers, Inspector James Babu of the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU), along with officials from the local police stations formed seven special teams and raided several hotspots.
These teams conducted surprise raids within the limits of Madhapur, Gachibowli, and Allapur police stations and caught 11 transgender persons who allegedly were exposing their bodies and making obscene gestures in public and creating nuisance.
