Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Sunday (December 22, 2024) condemned the attack on the residence of actor Allu Arjun. The Hyderabad police stated that during the stampede at Sandhya Theatre on December 4, which led to the death of a woman, Allu Arjun was informed about the incident but allegedly refused to leave the theatre. In a post on X, Revanth Reddy expressed his disapproval of the attacks on the homes of film personalities and stressed the need for strict action to maintain law and order. He directed the state’s Director General of Police (DGP) and the city’s Police Commissioner to take stringent measures against those responsible for such incidents. Reddy added that no leniency would be tolerated in such cases. Further, the Chief Minister urged senior police officials to ensure action against officers who failed to respond adequately to the Sandhya Theatre incident. He emphasized that accountability must be enforced, particularly for those who obstructed or neglected their duty during the chaos.
