India’s First Ultra-Fast Charging Station Unveiled

Audi India has recently unveiled its RE-powered ultra-fast charging station situated in the bustling Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) of Mumbai. This state-of-the-art facility boasts the capability to charge the Audi Q8 55 e-tron from 20 to 80 percent in a remarkably brief 26 minutes. The Q8 e-tron, an electric SUV par excellence, is equipped with a robust 114kWh battery pack propelling two electric motors strategically positioned on each axle. Together, these motors generate an impressive combined power of 408bhp and torque of 664Nm. The Q8 e-tron claims an extraordinary range of 582km on a single charge and achieves a top speed of 600km. Notably, the 55 variant of the Sportback requires a six-hour charging time when connected to a 170kW DC fast charger for a complete replenishment.

Adding to the allure, Audi e-tron owners can avail of complimentary charging services at this avant-garde ultra-fast charging station until March 2024. The charging infrastructure is designed to be universal, accommodating all electric vehicles.
