A 47-year-old builder, M Venkateshwarlu, died by suicide in Injapur on Thursday night, reportedly due to financial distress caused by a slump in his real estate business. Police recovered a suicide note and are investigating based on a complaint from his wife.

Hyderabad: Upset over a setback in his real estate business and resulting financial problems, a realtor died by suicide by hanging in his flat in Injapur on Thursday night.
M Venkateshwarlu(47), a builder, was staying with his wife and two children at Prashanth Hills Colony in Meerpet. He was into real estate and took up construction activity at various locations in the city.
As per available information, for the past few months Venkateshwarlu was upset over his financial difficulties which were allegedly caused by the slow business in the real estate sector.
With this, Venkateshwarlu is suspected to have ended his life by hanging himself in his another flat located at Sai Priya Colony in Injapur area, writing a suicide note stating that he was ending his life due to financial difficulties after his real estate business suffered a setback.
Based on the complaint from Venkateshwarlu’s wife, the police booked a case and took up investigation.
