Got stopped by cops (probably because of UP14 registration) and they ran my plates and checked if I had a valid license.Excitement soon turned into torture as we entered GJ. None of the flyovers and bridges had smooth surface, everything was broken.Stopped at Valsad (Sugar N Spice) for breakfast, we were doing good time, 3 hrs to Valsad.All hell broke loose after breakfast stop, so many bottlenecks and delays till Baruch.Ignored Google and continued on NH48 to take left after Narmada towards NE4, have taken the internal Ankleshwar road earlier and I was in no mood to deal with city traffic. Had already ran out of patience.Was getting desperate to climb NE4, but the bad roads continued, there is absolutely no tarmac left on NH48-NE4 road, its broken and to top it all they have so many speed breakers.Climbed NE4 and set the CC to 130 KMPH. Stopped at Jagdish/McDonald’s for Lunch/Coffee.From here is was smooth till Ahemdabad Ring Road. Something’s never change, since 2016 I am observing folks overtaking using shoulder on NE1, in 2025 the speeds are higher, only saving grace is they are using indicator before taking shoulder.Total time taken: Unforgiving 12 hrsCheck out BHPian comments for more insights and information.
