Rohit then took a single off the third ball of the over, handing the baton to Rinku, who hit three humongous back-to-back sixes off the final three balls.

Despite a shaky start that saw India struggling at 22-4, with star batsman Virat Kohli dismissed for a first-ball duck after choosing to bat first in Bengaluru, Rohit emerged as the saviour.
The dynamic opener not only surpassed the records of Australia’s Glenn Maxwell and Suryakumar Yadaveach with four T20I centuries, but also played a breathtaking innings.
Rohit’s spectacular knock of 121 runs off 69 balls, supported by an unbeaten 190-run partnership with Rinku Singh, turned the tide, rescuing India from a precarious position.
